When I made this watercolor - collage, I had read about Eleanor Antin’s exhibition titled Minetta Lane - A Ghost Story. An installation of three window-like-screens allowed viewers to witness the intimate lives of unbeknownst protagonists. A little girl would enter and exit the various scenes happening in the window-like-screens. It seemed as though the viewers would experience the installation through the eyes of the little girl.  This artwork is also about observing someone observe something else. This artwork is about watching a woman whose life is happening in front of her. The viewer watches her, as she watches life happen from the window of her home - in turn, she is watching us. This artwork is about judgement, vulnerability, and the recognition of ourselves in others.
