This sculpture is the study of for the video “Rapunzel” which shows a woman opening a window on the 15th floor of a public housing project and throwing her bra below, the cups of which have been replaced by gigantic sleeves (164 feet) with gloves attached to the end. After these sleeves fall and unfold they eventually reach the bottom of the building.

Inspired from the tale of Rapunzel, a princess locked in a tower who throws her gigantic braid out the window for a prince to climb and save her, this video depicts social themes of poverty and desperation.

B&T has a 14-day return policy. Whenever an artwork / art object does not satisfy upon arrival, the customer should notify B&T, and a return protocol will be set forth. The customer will be refunded in full minus shipping costs once the artwork / art object has arrived at Bird & Tale’s location in Chicago.

If one of our items is returned due to damages that happened during shipping, B&T will recommend the Artist to restore, or replace the item, and B&T will cover shipping costs to/from the artist studio back to the customer.
