Pet Portrait is a section dedicated to the commissioned works of Mark Krisco, and his ability to capture not only the physical likeness of the pets he paints, but also their personalities.
Krisco paints dogs and cats. All of Krisco's paintings are oil paint on linen.
Along with being one of the most excellent painters in the Chicago area, Mark Krisco served as the curator of the Francey and Dr. Martin Gecht Collection from 1975-2013. He has also been a lecturer at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago since 1993 and Adjunct Lecturer at the Art Institute of Chicago since 1993. He curated exhibitions for the Marshall Fields Archives, participated in the 2006 Oxford Round Table and served as one of the pair of jurors for the Bacardi Limited Biennial at Bermuda National Gallery in 2008.

All portraits will be quoted by size. We require a few photographs of your pet. Once quoted, we require payment of a 50% non-refundable deposit.
Paintings are finished within two weeks of confirmation of deposit.
