Kenneth lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. He received a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He works in ceramics and painting. He is a cofounder of Rover Gallery, an artist-run curatorial project.
These vases belong to a series titled Excavation. The vases's shapes are taken from traditional Greek and Roman shapes. The decoration and glazing are there to complicate that relationship with history, adding an underlying politic to these artworks and complicating their function. Each vase is one of a kind.
