The artist's original graphite drawing from which this pattern emerged shows row after row of empty theater seats. It was created during the height of the pandemic-era and aptly named as it was intended to reflect the quarantine period of time where we stayed indoors, unable to go and live life as we knew it. The pattern has since taken on a new life with warmer interpretations since turning into a wallpaper. They are now seats waiting to be filled by the host who chooses to display Intermission.
